Louisiana Law Enforcement Officer's MemorialThe Louisiana Law Enforcement Officers Memorial will honor the fallen officers whose names will be added to the memorial this year with a roll call and memorial service on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 6:00 PM. At that time, in solemn and time-honored tradition, these officers will be recognized for their ultimate sacrifice. Names of the following officers will be added to the memorial: RUSSELL ANTHONY GEORGE – Ball Police Dept (EOW 6/26/2011) JOHNNY RAY KENDALL – Louisiana Department of Public Safety Police (EOW 8/9/2011) PAUL BERCHES STUCKEY – Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (EOW 9/30/2011) THOMAS HEATH – Constable, Bossier Parish, C.O., Pct. 5 (EOW 10/5/1905) ALBERT B GOOS - Calcasieu Parish S.O. (EOW 6/2/1953) WALTER NICHOLS – City Marshal, Delhi (EOW 11/20/1909) J W EDWARDS - Ouachita Parish S.O (EOW 08/20/1948) SAMUEL BAXTER WILLIS - Ouachita Parish S.O (EOW 6/13/1895) CHRISTOPHER C CHENNAULT - Town Marshal, Rayville (EOW 6/17/1910) ELMO FERGUSON - Richland Parish S.O (EOW 6/20/1932) DELOS C WOOD - Washington Parish S.O (EOW 7/21/1934) To get to the memorial, take I-10 to Metairie, and take exit 231A. Keep to the left and loop back under the interstate, crossing the east bound exit ramp, to the service road leading to the memorial at Lake Lawn cemetery.
