2012 Calendar   March 31 - LA-COPS Spring meeting - Gonzales   May    8 - Louisiana Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial Louisiana Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Ceremony The ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8 at 6:00 P.M. at the memorial site in the Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard in Metairie/New Orleans.  There will be a candle lighting ceremony to honor those officers who made the supreme sacrifice in 2011 as well as officers added from previous years.  LA-COPS will host a reception for survivors and officers following the ceremony.  http://lleom.com/ 12 - 17 - National Police Week Activities in Washington, D.C.   June    15 - 17 - LA-COPS  Family Retreat at Tall Timbers near Woodworth.    December   1 - LA-COPS Christmas Gathering, Alexandria
